Looking for Monkeys at the Arakura Sengen Shrine | Mt Fuji

Whilst in Mt Fuji, we visited The Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō), which is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji.

It is a part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine that was built as a peace memorial in 1963. There are nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine’s main buildings.
