Who else got their hands on some bargains at the Priceline 50% off cosmetics sale? I managed to pick up some of my favourite products and a few new ones to try out so I filmed this Priceline makeup haul!
Although 50% off is amazing, Christmas is almost here so I didn’t go too overboard. My total spendings at Priceline came to $62.37 but on the bright side, I saved a whopping $62.45! Here is what I bought and why.
The Nude By Nature mineral finishing veil is amazing at creating a smooth and flawless finish on the skin without enhancing any fine lines or wrinkles. I haven’t heard many people talking about this product but it is amazing! I press it into the skin with a damp beauty blender to set my foundation.
It doesn’t contain Talc, Bismuth or Parabens, so it not only helps minimise excess oil and shine but allows your skin to breathe (plus no flashback in photos!).
With 50% off it came to $19.97
This is the new look Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1 foundation (not a new formula, just a new look bottle) that is my all-time favourite drugstore foundation.
It has a long-lasting formula that contains a primer, concealer and foundation all in one, which saves me time and money. It has great coverage without looking cakey and lasts all day.
With 50% off it came to $10.47
I wanted to compare this to the Rimmel Wonderfull Mascara with argan oil. The Rimmel mascaras really give your lashes length and volume for thicker looking lashes, so no need for falsies!
However, the wand is too thick to apply mascara to your bottom lashes.
With 50% off it came to $9.47
I got this brow gel in clear and dark brown. It is an affordable brow gel that isn’t clumpy and doesn’t dry too hard and with the 50% off they were basically giving them away!
Quick tip: Use a clear brow gel to stick down flyaway hairs to avoid overusing hairspray.
With 50% off it came to $2.49
I was in need of a soft brown eyeliner so I picked up this waterproof Essence eyeliner in ‘but first, expresso’. It has a lovely creamy texture that applies beautifully.
With 50% off it came to $2.05
I chose this NYX lip liner in ‘nectar’ because it’s retractable and I liked the look of the colour. However, I must not have tested it in Priceline because it has a very metallic appearance. Although, it does have a lovely creamy texture that feels nice on the lips.
With 50% off it came to $4.97
I got the Savvy matte lipstick in the shade Beverly Hills, which is a rich purple/vampy shade.
With 50% off it came to $3.99
I love wind up lip liners (saves having to sharpen them and I find they often have a softer application). I got this Rimmel lip liner to go under the Savvy ultra matte lipstick, it has a great colour payoff and a beautiful creamy consistency.
With 50% off it came to 6.47
