End of Winter Empties and Product Reviews

I have a confession, I am a hoarder. After I finish a product I keep it in a little box in my office to review for a Youtube empties video.

Whilst that’s all good and well, there no better feeling than finally throwing away that empty bottle so, here is my end of winter empty products. I tell you whether I will be repurchasing the product and why.

The Clinique Clarifying Lotion

I use The Clinique Clarifying Lotion as a toner, I picked this one up because it is alcohol-free which is a lot more gentle on the skin. It’s hard to tell how much of a difference a toner makes because you use products before and after a toner.

This toner did not irritate my skin and was also calming on my sensitive skin so, I would repurchase. Young Blood Translucent Powder

I have not finished this product, however, I have had it for longer than I would like to admit and I think it has expired. I noticed it wasn’t settling into my skin how it should be so it was time to bin it. However, it is a beautiful product that I would repurchase.

Macro Natural Vitamin E Cream

Macro Natural Vitamin E Cream

This is a winter must! If you struggle (like me) with extremely dry/cracked hands or even eczema during winter, this is a thick creamy product that can help restore your skin.

I put this on any dry place before bed, if you have extremely dry hands, put cotton gloves on over the cream. This will really help the cream soak into your hands and you’ll wake up with a lot softer hands.

Cetaphil UVA/UVB 50+ Defence Daily Facial Moisturiser

This is a nice facial moisturiser with a high protection of 50+ from UVA & UVB rays. I love this product, it wasn’t quite empty but it was out of date and I’m not risking my face to the suns rays, even during winter.

Carmex Lip Balm

Carmex Lip Balm

Probably my No.1 winter must have is Carmes. I constantly have one on me, there’s one in my car, at work in every room of my house, I can’t live without it.

Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads

There are great for traveling with, they remove nail polish quite easily. However, I prefer the Maybelline nail polish express remover, it’s so quick and easy to use.

Biore Charcoal Pore Minimiser Cleanser

I’ve heard that charcoal cleansers are great for removing blackheads, that’s why I purchased this initially. However, this particular cleaner did not work well with my skin, and I had to stop using it.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

This product works amazing under the eyes, it truly does help brighten and blur blemishes. I have had this product for a while so I decided to throw it away because there is a sponge on the end that I feel might be housing some bacteria. I will be repurchasing.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation

I’ll be honest I have not tried a lot of foundations but of the ones I have tried this, is my all-time favorite. It truly does work as a primer, concealer, and foundation, it has great coverage! Will definitely repurchase.

Loreal Telescopic Mascara

I loved this mascara, the wand was great for separating and lengthening the lashes. Not so much for volumising but it also worked great for applying mascara under the eyes.
