My Favourite Becca Highlight 😦

Have you ever had your heart broken? Then you know what it feels like when you drop your favourite compact and it shatters into a million pieces.

While that may be a little dramatic, don’t fret. You can fix you broken blush in 3 simple steps.

What you’ll need:

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • A spoon, spatula or I used the end of a makeup brush.

Step 1: Add a small amount of rubbing alcohol and mix it into a fine paste. (You can mix the product in a separate container. After my first attempt, I would suggest mixing it in the original pan.

Step 2: Spead it evenly in the pan. The finish will not be as nice as when you first bought it but it’s better than nothing.

Step 3: Let it sit so that the rubbing alcohol can evaporate and the product can set. Voila good as new (almost!).

The same goes for other powdered products, I used this method to bring my favourite highlighter back to life. Unfortunately, your product will never be exactly the same but when you spend an arm and a leg on a highlighter you’re not going to just throw it out!
