Why let being on a tight budget affect the quality of your makeup? As I said in my recent blog post Best Budget Makeup, unfortunately at the moment high end of makeup doesn’t often align with what’s in my bank account.
Let’s get straight into some amazing makeup products for your eyes, that won’t break the bank!
I’ve never seen the point in spending ridiculous amounts of money on high end mascaras when drugstores mascaras are the bomb. The Rimmel London Wonder’full Mascara (in exttreme black) is my go-to mascara! It does exactly what if claims, makes your lashes look full.
My friends have ask me if I’ve had eyelash extensions put in when I’m wearing this mascara. The Rimmel London wonder’full Mascara is extremely black and also has argan oil in it to nourish your lashes. You can pick this guy up from The Chemist Wharehouse for just $15.99, bargain!
The Loreal Telescopic Mascara is a little pricier for $26.95 from Priceline. However, if you hate clumpy looking lashes, this is the mascara for you. The brush head is perfect for gragging your lashes individually and lengthening your lashing. After Kathleen Lights was raved about this mascara in one of her tutorials, I went out and bought it. So glad I did because it darkens and lengthens my lashes so much that they touch the lenses when I wear sunnies.
The Loreal brow artist plumper is perfect for tinting your brows slightly and keeping them in place. If you need a defined brow you would have to accompany this product with a brow pencil or gel. However if you’re like me and you just want to keep your brows under control this is a great product! up your brows and keeping them in place all day $18.95.
The Maybelline Colour Tattoos are an amazing cream eyeshadow base on the lid. For just $9.99 you can’t go wrong! They apply best with your fingers before you apply a powder. It gives you great colour pay off as you can see in the swatches above. They give your eyeshadow a stronger payoff and help make it last all day. You can also purchase the matching powder for only $5!
These products are my tried and tested, high quality, low budget favourites! Be sure to follow Anni and Ava if you’d like to see more. If you have any thing to add I would love to know about them in the comments below!
